Great First Week!

Our first week is finished. In Bible, we learned about the greatest commandment, love. We went to the Salvation Army, learned about some of what they do there, and worked in the food bank. In history, we're moving along in the middle ages. We read a lot about the Dark Ages this summer. We're learning about castle life, how towns were developed, knights in shining armor, and more. The kids did some math, grammar, reading, and critical thinking/logic activities this week as well. I never start a full load the first week. I like to ease back into things since summer is so short here.
